THE STORY BEHIND THIS PROGRAMME

Discover more than the route.

Founded by the Almoravids in the eleventh century, Marrakech later became an Almohad capital. Its walls, Koutoubia, gardens and later palaces show how successive dynasties shaped the city. The UNESCO-listed medina remains a living neighbourhood, not an open-air stage set.

Jemaa el-Fna

Return at different times to experience the square’s changing food, music and street life. Agree prices for any performance or service.

Palaces & architecture

Build a heritage walk around Bahia Palace, the Badi Palace area and the Koutoubia exterior. Confirm each site’s visitor access.

Gardens & craft quarters

Combine a garden break with workshops and souks; ask before photographing makers.

STEP BY STEP

Your journey, day by day.

  1. 01

    Day 1 · understand Marrakech

Discover the historic city in neighbourhood-sized pieces: a palace and craft walk make a different day from gardens and a cooking encounter. Keep Atlas and Agafay excursions separate from your city schedule. Begin with start with a medina orientation walk, then leave time for a meal and an independently arranged overnight base.

  2. 02

    Day 2 · discover Imlil

A High Atlas village where mountain routes, terraced landscapes and local Amazigh life meet. A village walk and a summit trek are different experiences; choose your route with a qualified guide. Choose one palace or garden. Leave the evening for the square and a shared meal. This is a proposed route; transport, access and return timing require local agreement.
